Extreme Hockey Shooting Tarp 7 x 10
Bring the rink home
8 targets
Aim where goals actually get scored
Eight holes sit around a full-size printed goalie: both top corners, in tight beside the pads, and low blocker side. You stop shooting at open space and start shooting at the places a puck actually goes in.
- 8 target holes
- Full-size goalie printed on
Hang with slack
The door behind it survives
The heavy nylon takes the energy out of the shot before it reaches the door or the wall. Hang it with a little slack rather than pulled tight, so the fabric can give on impact instead of passing the force straight through.
- Absorbs the shot
- Hang loose, not drum tight
7 x 10 ft
Covers a single garage door
Wide enough to change angle between shots and to work on passes into the target, and it comes down in a minute when you need the door back. No goal, no frame, nothing to assemble.
- Fits a single garage door
- Up and down in minutes
Questions & answers
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is included?
The tarp itself, with grommets along the edge for hanging. No goal or frame is needed, and none is included.
How do I hang it?
From the grommets along the top edge, using hooks, cord or bungees into whatever you have above the opening. Leave a little slack so the tarp can move when a puck hits it.
Where should I put the hooks?
Spread them evenly along the top so the weight is shared, and pull the bottom corners out just enough to keep the tarp flat without stretching it tight. A tarp hung drum tight passes the force of the shot into whatever is behind it.
Can I hang it in front of a drywall wall?
Yes, and that is a common setup. The nylon absorbs the shot, and hanging it with slack means the fabric takes the energy rather than the wall. Give it room to swing rather than mounting it flat against the surface.
Will it protect my garage door?
That is what the full 7 x 10 ft coverage is for. The tarp hangs across the opening so shots that miss the holes still hit fabric, not the door.
What is it made of?
Heavy-duty nylon, chosen to take repeated shots rather than tear at the target holes.
Can I use real pucks?
Yes. It is built for regular hockey pucks and full-speed shooting.
What is the difference from the 7 x 16 version?
The 7 x 16 is wider and covers a double garage door. The 7 x 10 is sized for a single door or a smaller wall.
